SheBoot is a Canadian organization dedicated to increasing access to capital for women-owned and women-led technology startups. Founded in 2020 in Ottawa, Canada, SheBoot aims to address the funding gap faced by women entrepreneurs by enhancing the number of women involved in and receiving investment. The program, designed and delivered by women investors and entrepreneurs for women founders, equips participants with essential skills and knowledge in legal, financial, and go-to-market areas to pitch their business and secure investment. SheBoot includes:

  • A six-week bootcamp featuring interactive workshops and weekly pitch practices with investors
  • Seven months of catered support from advisors, a coach, and a ghost board
  • A pitch competition where participants compete for a share of $300,000 in equity-based investment from 30 women angels
