Founded in 2013 by Sofia Bernardin & Sabrina Marshall, ReSee is an online luxury resale platform which enables customers to buy and sell pre-owned fashion pieces.[1][2]
In 2022, Resee launched a Series A funding round, including Darren Star[3], the American television producer behind “Emily in Paris” and “Sex and the City,” among three new investors including Shari Glazer, founder and CEO of Kalon Labs and Michael Dayan, who co-founded French e-commerce showroomprive.com.[4][5]
In November 2022, ReSee launched its partnership with French luxury House Alaïa, selling a selection of the House’s vintage archives as selected by creative director Pieter Mulier.[6] [7] [8]
In 2023, ReSee announced Vestiaire Collective Co-Founder Sebastien Fabre as its new CEO.[9][10]
In 2024 ReSee launched into Menswear, partnering with vintage collector & co-founder of L’etiquette Magazine Gauthier Borsarello on a selection of vintage clothing, watches and bags for men.[11] [12][13]
To mark its 10 year anniversary, ReSee hosted a Charity Auction benefitting Women for Women International, for which Naomi Campbell, Cate Blanchett, Kim Kardashian, Cindy Sherman, Oprah Winfrey, Gillian Anderson, Natalia Vodianova, Catherine Deneuve, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Emma Chamberlain and model Saskia de Brauw donated pieces from their wardrobes.[14][15][16][17][18]
ReSee is Headquartered in Paris, and privately owned.
