Rafael Tejada (born 12 March 2003) is a Salvadoran professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Primera División club FAS and the El Salvador national team.
Club career
[edit]Rafael Tejada would begin his career with the Los Angeles FC youth academy. He would start his senior career with Los Angeles FC affiliate Las Vegas Lights FC ahead of the 2022 USL Championship season.[3] He would make his debut for Las Vegas Lights on 20 August 2022 against Sacramento Republic in a 2–1 win.[4] He would finish the 2022 season with 3 appearances.[5]
International career

[edit]Rafael Tejada began his international career representing the El Salvador U23 team in a friendly match against Honduras U23 ahead of the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games.[6] He would make 4 appearances in the tournament as El Salvador would end in fourth place, loosing the bronze medal match to Honduras.[7]
