Pychess is a free and open-source Internet chess server designed to play a growing list of chess variants. Users of the site can play online chess anonymously or use a Lichess account to login and play rated games. Features include chess variants (but also standard chess), chess puzzles, computer analysis, and tournaments (called 'arenas'). Pychess is ad-free and all the features are available for free, as the site is funded by donations from patrons.
