PD Water Systems-Aquatrece is a group of companies consisting of Aquatrece Venezuela, Aquatrece Colombia, Aquatrece Ecuador, Aquatrece Costa Rica, and PD Water Systems. The companies that form the group are dedicated to commercializing a range of products that satisfy basic residential water supply needs, as well as having applications in irrigation, water conditioning, and industrial water supply in their respective countries (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, the USA, and the Caribbean). The group is also involved in the distribution of agricultural equipment, including gas and diesel engines, water pumps, and generators.
History

[edit]The beginning of the PD Water Systems-Aquatrece Group can be traced back to 1993 with the founding of Aquatrece Venezuela in the city of Caracas. The company introduced Pedrollo water pumps to the Venezuelan market and became the official representative for this brand in the country. Later, Aquatrece started to source products from some of the most important brands in the industry and introduced them to the Venezuelan market.[1]
PD Water Systems (2005)
[edit]After building a presence in Venezuela’s water industry, the group expanded to North America with the creation of PD Water Systems in 2005. According to the founders, Giuseppe and Matteo Rossi, the Miami-based company was founded to introduce new water supply products to the US market. PD Water Systems also started to supply products to multiple countries in the Caribbean and Central America such as Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, and Panamá.[2]
Pearl (2008)
[edit]PD Water Systems developed its own brand of water supply products in 2008 and named it Pearl. The name was inspired by the pearl color of the brand’s first pressure tanks. Later, they created a line of peripheral and centrifugal pumps dedicated to the South American market. And soon they came up with a line of submersible and vertical Pumps. The Pearl brand soon became a complete line of products designed for agriculture, residential water supply, industrial water supply, construction, and the service industry.
Arvek (2009)
[edit]After selling agricultural equipment for several years, the group developed a new brand of products named Arvek to fulfill the demand for these types of products in the market. Arvek quickly became widely accepted in the market due to the quality of its products and price-value ratio.
Aquatrece Colombia (2010)
[edit]The group decided to continue its expansion in Latin America and opened Aquatrece Colombia in 2010. Headquartered in Bogotá, Aquatrece Colombia introduced Pearl to the Colombian market, while also commercializing other brands of water supply products.[3]
Aquatrece Central America
[edit]The PD Water Systems-Aquatrece group distributes products in several Central American locations. These Countries include Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, and Panamá.
Aquatrece Ecuador (2021)
[edit]The group introduced the Pearl brand to Ecuador through a local distributor, and in 2021, opened Aquatrece Ecuador, headquartered in the city of Guayaquil. According to the founders, this was done to start a commercial organization capable of satisfying various distribution channels in the country.[4]
Aquatrece Costa Rica (2024)
[edit]Costa Rica was one of the first countries where the Pearl brand was introduced. Considering the highly competitive market of the country, the group decided to start direct operations in Costa Rica with the founding of Aquatrece Costa Rica in 2024.
