Päivi Peltokoski (born in 1968) is a Finnish diplomat. She serves as Ambassador of Finland to Cyprus from September 2024[1][2]. Peltokoski transfered to Nicosia from Ramallah in Palestine, where she worked as Ambassador of Finland in 2020-2024[3][4][5]. Before that, she was Director of Unit for Eastern Europe and Central Asia [6][7][8]in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 2014-2020. Her career in the Diplomatic Service includes posts in Moscow, Tallinn and St. Petersburg[9]. Peltokoski has extensive experience in Finland's eastern policy in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs[9]. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Helsinki. Peltokoski joined the Ministry in 1998.
