    The Opljaz Clashes was a fierce attack lead by KLA commander Agim Ramadani against the Yugoslav police during the Kosovo War.

    On the 9th of August, 1998, Ramadani and his group attacked Yugoslav Troops stationed in a small village in Kosovo called Opljaz. The attack resulted in Ramadani’s men emerging victorious over the Yugoslav police force. They killed 17 Yugoslav soldiers and 2 Yugoslav officers.[1][2]

    Aftermath

    Shortly after the battle, Ramadani lead another attack against Yugoslav troops near Ðervica mountain watchtower on the 15th September 1998, resulting in a KLA victory and death of 40 Yugoslav soldiers as well as many more wounded.[1] [2]
