Omkar Palav (born September 7, 1986) is an Indian Guinness World Record holder, currently residing in Australia. Known as the "Typing Man of Australia,"[1][2] he achieved the record for typing the alphabet with his nose in 20.51 seconds.[3] [4]
Early Life and Education
[edit]Born and brought up in Lalbaug, Mumbai,India. Omkar Palav has been dynamic, proficient, and result-oriented throughout his career. He graduated with Distinction in Engineering in Information Technology from Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering, affiliated with the University of Mumbai, in 2008.
Career
[edit]With over 15 years of experience as an IT professional, Palav is currently working for AMP Limited in Adelaide, Australia.
Guinness World Record
[edit]On July 20, 2024, Omkar set his first official Guinness World Record by typing the alphabet with his nose in 20.51 seconds.[5] This record was achieved in Adelaide, South Australia, and was officially verified by Guinness World Records adjudicators.[6][7][8]
