Ol Muniswamy (transl. Liar Muniswamy) is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language drama film directed by Anandpriya and starring Kashinath, Niranjan Wodeyar and Akhila Prakash.[1][2][3] This is Kashinath's 50th and last film, which was released posthumously.[4][5][6][7]

Production
[edit]The film features sixty newcomers.[8] The film was shot in twenty-eight days in Belur, Bevinagadda, Gutti and Sakleshpur.[9] The film finished most of its shooting in 2017.[4] A song featuring Kashinath was left unshot due to his untimely death.[7]
Reception
[edit]A critic from Udayavani wrote that the director has succeeded in creating the atmosphere of a small village. The director, who is also focused on the scenes, has also put in bold scenes and double meaning dialogues for it. Kashinath carried the whole movie on his shoulders".[10]
