[edit]Ojas Joshi was born and raised in India. He began his musical training at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya in Mumbai, where he earned his Sangeet Visharad (Bachelor of Music). Joshi also trained on the guitar and piano under various local instructors. At the age of 21, he moved to New York City for advanced musical education, studying under Pt. Kinnar Seen.
