An Almost Lunar Eclipse will occur on October 17th, 2024 the third of the 3 lunar eclipses in 2024, the Sun, Earth, and Moon will be very closely aligned on this day, however there will be no Lunar Eclipse.
There are several different ways to calculate eclipses so some sources are listing this as a Penumbra eclipse. In any cases, viewers on earth will not be able to see the earth’s shadow on the moon. [1]
