Call of Duty esports career
[edit]Call of Duty: Cold War
[edit]This was NearbyAlarm's first season as an amateur player and despite his inexperience on a professional stage, he led his clan, HeatWave Gaming, to notoriety by going on the longest win streak in GameBattles history at 281 wins in a row. HeatWave Gaming has also gained notoriety for offering supermax contracts to players, with Nearby and his teammate IcyWolf gaining the first 2 supermax deals in CDL history.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022)
[edit]This was NearbyAlarm's breakout season as a professional and again, he led his clan, HeatWave Gaming, who are widely considered to be the best and most innovative CDL Search & Destroy team. They won 3 amateur cups and 12 open LAN tournaments over the course of the season and involved some of the most absurd clutches of all time, including a 36-0 perfect game against Redwalk Gaming on March 3rd, 2023. Nearby stayed on the Modern Warfare circuit despite the game's lifecycle having run its course.
