"Moon Men" is a soundtrack created by English musician, and filmmaker Jake Chudnow.[1] Released on January 1, 2008; The rights to the song were given to his publisher Vsauce and have since been used throughout his videos.[2] The soundtrack is now apart of "The Vsauce Music Collection"[3]
Performance
[edit]When released in 2008, the growth of the song was sparse, but since the use of the song by Chudnows' publisher, Vsauce in his multiple videos; the soundtrack has since spiked in popularity[1] The song has gained mass exposure from the internet, contributing to 3.1 million views of a re-upload of the soundtrack.[4] To raise funds for Alzheimer's Disease, 500 copies of the vinyl edition of the song have been sold on Vsauces' official merchandise website[5]
