- Comment: Except maybe the NZZ piece(I can't read German), none of the sources actually talk about the company. One source is not enough for an article. Also, as mentioned before Discogs is not a reliable source; please remove it. Ca talk to me! 13:31, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Fails WP:NCOMPANY - Discogs, IMDb, YouTube, Vimeo are not acceptable or reliable sources. The company's website is a primary source and therefore not independent. Dan arndt (talk) 09:22, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

mital-U is a Swiss independent record label founded in 1996 by Bruno Waser.
The label (LabelCode 24483) featured several important acts on its roster, including Crazy, Grauzone, The Vyllies, mittageisen.[1][2][3]
History
[edit]The real beginning of music production goes back to 1980, when Bruno Waser produced the first Swiss punk LP (Crazy). This was followed by the production of further (vinyl-)records for the Lucerne punks Crazy as well the dark-wave band mittageisen.
A view years later, in 1991, the production of a compilation CD for the punk band Crazy, followed in 1994 by the album alles ist anders ... nichts hat sich geändert (everything is different ... nothing has changed) by mittageisen.[4]
After recognising the potential of the Internet as a distribution channel for independent produced music during a visit to Ars Electronica in Linz (AT) in 1995, Bruno W founded the record label mital-U and went on to produce records for various bands such as Grauzone, mittageisen, The Vyllies.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
With the production of music videos such as Eisbär by Grauzone (2011) and automaten by mittageisen (2015) mital-U has also become increasingly involved in video/film projects on alternative music and subcultural movements.[12][13]
