Misty Roberts Clanton (born May, 1982) is the former mayor of Deritter, Louisiana. She was first elected in 2018, and re-elected in 2022. On July 27, 2024, she abruptly resigned from her mayoral position. On August 1st, she was arrested on charges of third-degree rape, and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. She was released from jail after posting a $75,000 bond.^[1]

Clanton was the first female elected as mayor of Deritter. Politically, she identifies as an independent.^[1]
