 The company has had a huge impact on the way that America does business/lifestyle through their venture capital investments into well-known companies that are deemed integral to American life. This meets "WP:COMPANY" and "WP:CORP" without a doubt. Greylock Partners & Lightspeed Venture Partners are examples with the exact same impact.


M13 Investments (Founded 2016, Santa Monica, California) is an venture capital investment firm founded by Carter and Courtney Reum (husband to Paris Hilton).[1][2] They are responsible for notable American startups such as Pinterest, Snapchat, Slack, Bonobos, Lyft, Pinterest, Coinbase, Daily Harvest, Thrive Market, Rothy’s, Ring, Cabify, Classpass, Scopely, Cue and Bird.[3][4][5] It is also known for theri investors and Board members, such as Sir Richard Branson, Silas Chou, Tony Robbins, and Arianna Huffington.[6][7] The firm has produced an industry-known portfolio estimated at $280b (2023), one of the largest in the United States.[8][9][10]

History

Founded by brothers Carter and Courtney Reum (Harvard Business School and Columbia University) who started the firm after a brief time as investment bankers at Goldman Sachs.[10][11] The brothers sold their alcohol spirits business in 2016 to the beverage company Luxco.[12][13] They then decided to focus on providing Seed, Series A, and Series B+ rounds in emerging companies.[14][15] The firm is named for the star cluster Messier 13.
