Louis J. Prosperi is a game designer who has worked primarily on role-playing games.
Career
[edit]As a staff member for Mayfair Games, Louis Prosperi worked with David Ladyman and Jeff Leason on the original development of the Chill (1990) role-playing game, and worked with Troy Denning on the second edition.[1]
Prosperi, with Greg Gorden and Christopher Kubasik, designed the Earthdawn roleplaying game, which was published in 1993 by FASA.[2][3][4][5] Prosperi continued to work as the line developer for Earthdawn and was the primary contributor to the line until he was laid off in June 1998.[6]
His design work for Dungeons & Dragons includes Treasures of Greyhawk (1992) and Dark Sun Monstrous Compendium Appendix: Terrors of the Desert (1992).
