Original series

[edit]

Tail Concerto

[edit]

Tail Concerto was released on April 16, 1998, in Japan for the PlayStation. It was then followed by a worldwide release by distributor Bandai on November 3, 1999; except in North America, which was distributed by Atlus West. In the game, a teenaged Caninu police officer named Waffle Ryebread has encounters with the Black Cats Gang, a group of sky pirates who aim to steal magic crystals.

A sequel was planned to go into development on the one-year anniversary of the original game,[1] but was rejected by Bandai several times due to low sales.[2][3]

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter

[edit]

Solatorobo: Red the Hunter was released on October 28, 2010, in Japan by Bandai Namco for the Nintendo DS. A North American release followed by Xseed Games on September 27, 2011.

A Caninu freelance adventurer and mecha pilot named Red Savarin encounters a mysterious young Felineko named Elh, and becomes involved in a series of events that reveal the hidden truth of the origin of his world and those who live in it.

Fuga series

[edit]

The Fuga sub-series revolves around a group of a dozen anthropomorphic children, led by Caninu child Malt Marzipan.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel

[edit]

Fuga: Melodies of Steel was released on July 29, 2021, worldwide for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.[4] In the game, six child survivors hop on board a gigantic tank and rescue their families who have been taken hostage by an enemy nation while taking down enemy forces.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2

[edit]

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 was released worldwide on May 11, 2023.[5] The sequel takes place one year after the events of its 2021 predecessor, and introduces a new character: Vanilla Muscat. This was also the last Fuga game headed by its creative director Yoann Gueritot after he parted ways from CyberConnect2 during the sequel's development in early 2023.[6]

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3

[edit]

In February 2022, a third entry was indirectly announced by then-Fuga creative director Yoann Gueritot.[7][8]
