This article features enemies in the Mario franchise that have featured in multiple games and other forms of media.

A

Angry Sun

The Angry Sun is a Mario character who first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3.^[1] The enemy moves around the screen and causes the player to be damaged or die if touched.

B

Blooper

Bloopers are a species of sentry-like squid that chase the player in the Mario franchise that first appeared in Super Mario Bros..

Bloopers also appear in the Mario Kart as an item that can be used to obscure another player's (or computer's) vision.^[2]

Blooper Baby

A small variation of Blooper that is used by Blooper Nannies as a way of attacking the player.^[3]

Blooper Nanny

Blooper Nannies are a variation of Blooper that thrust smaller versions of themselves (Blooper Babies) as a form of attack against the player.^[3]

Goomba

Goombas are a common enemy in the Mario franchise that first appeared in Super Mario Bros.. In many Mario games they are the first enemy that the player will encounter.
