Lighthouse Christian College Cranbourne is a private, non-denominational Christian co-educational early learning primary and secondary day school located in the Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne, Victoria, Australia. They are known for teaching and training Biblical Values.
The current principal is Jacob Mathews, with Phillip Cayzer as Chairman of the board.
According to the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA). Lighthouse currently has 1025 student enrolments.
History
[edit]Lighthouse Christian College Cranbourne (LCCC) was founded by Jacob Mathews and Phillip Cayzer in 2000. LCCC was a campus of Lighthouse Christian College Keysborough, until they split in 2009.
News
[edit]LCCC was on the local news in 2017. When a mother and daughter, who attended the school, was killed in a car crash at South Gippsland Highway in front of the school.
LCCC has also been referred to as a “One of the cheapest schools topping the NAPLAN ranking” by the Herald Sun.
It is a registered non-profit organisation by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
