Kumar Saurabh[1][2] (born 12 September 1992) is an Indian actor, best known for his versatile performances in both films and web series. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Chhotu in the action-packed film Baaghi 2 alongside Tiger Shroff. His portrayal of the character 'Chooha',[3] the secret pathways expert in Shamshera, earned him further acclaim, where he shared the screen with notable actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Driven by a passion for acting, Kumar pursued formal training at the Madhya Pradesh School of Drama (M.P.S.D.) in Bhopal, where he honed his skills and prepared for a career in the entertainment industry. His professional acting journey began in 2016 when he made his debut in the film Laal Rang, sharing the screen with Randeep Hooda. This marked the beginning of his successful career in Indian cinema.
Career
[edit]He completed his graduation in Political Science at D.S. College,[10] Katihar, Bihar, in 2009. With a growing passion for acting, Kumar Saurabh pursued an acting course at the prestigious Madhya Pradesh School of Drama, Bhopal. In 2014, he made the bold decision to move to Mumbai[11] to chase his dreams in the entertainment industry. His acting career began with television, where he appeared in the popular crime show Crime Patrol on Sony Entertainment Television.
Kumar made his Bollywood debut in 2016 with the film Laal Rang, portraying the character of Shani Baba alongside Randeep Hooda. This debut marked his entry into the world of cinema, and soon after, he appeared in the movie Veerappan as a gang member. His talent continued to shine as he took on the role of Goonga in Dongri ka Raja. His breakthrough came in 2018 when he starred in Baaghi 2 alongside Tiger Shroff, playing the character of Chhotu.
