Kamyar Fuladlu born at Tehran is an Iranian architect-urban designer, and researcher. His research mainly developed based on the effects of Urban heat islands (UHI), Land surface temperature (LST), Urban Climate. While he specialized in research on Urban Sprawl. He received his Ph.D. of Architecture at Eastern Mediterranean University. He gave lectures as a part time senior instructor at School of Computing and Technology and Faculty of Architecture in Eastern Mediterranean University [1]. For a while he was a lecturer at Faculty of Architecture at Near East University. In November 2018 he provide the special GIS lectures for the Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus and this workshop had a significant contribution for Greek Cypriot and especially Turkish Cypriot communities [2] [3] [4] [5]. In October 2021 Fuladlu went to the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts of Girne American University [6]. Still his research was cited by many researchers [7] and was awarded several times by various institutions such as TÜBİTAK.

Fuladlu in case of Famagusta with different longitudinal study offers a practical model for the Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) estimation. Accordingly, the VMT used as an indicator for measuring the urban sprawl in the case of Famagusta. This study compared the estimated VMT with other factors includes license-plate, driver-license, learner-licenses, consumed fuel, traffic accident, injuries, and fatalities. The study outcomes proved the VMT's decline in the last thirteen years [9]. Besides Fuladlu try to considering the environmental parameters for university campus outdoor space at Eastern Mediterranean University [10]. During COVID-19 pandemic he try to study on population density distribution and the consequence of it on major air pollutants in case of Germany [11].
