Justin DuBose, Ph.D. is the Founder & President of Communicate To Care, Inc., an educational 501(c)3 organization which provides leadership development for organizations..[1] and provides ESL classes in Harris County, TX[2]. DuBose hosts The Leading Lounge podcast[3] and is also a military chaplain[4], writer[5][6], university professor, and an ordained minister with the Christian & Missionary Alliance[7]. Through the Alliance, some of his devotional writings have been translated into English, Spanish, and Chinese.[8]

After graduating from the University of North Georgia and commissioning into the United States Army Reserve, DuBose attended Luther Rice Seminary and received his Master of Divinity degree. His Doctor of Philosophy degree was conferred by Northcentral University[9]. His dissertation was titled Perception of Motivating Language by Leaders in a Christian Denomination: Comparing Communication Effectiveness Through Digital and Traditional Channels[10]. His research was the first time motivating language theory had been applied to religious institutions and one of the first studies to consider channel preferences[11][12][13]. His work in the field of motivating language theory formed his 4x4 leadership model which has been used in churches, schools, businesses, and the military.[14][15]

After serving as a pastor[16][17] and school administrator[18][19] in North Carolina, he now serves as a pastor in Texas[20][21]. DuBose also serves as an adjunct faculty member with Abilene Christian University[22] and Toccoa Falls College[23]. With Abilene Christian University, DuBose has served as a developer for Leadership Development courses at RangersU[24], a partnership between Abilene Christian University and the Texas Rangers to offer higher education courses for players and staff to earn college credit toward both bachelor’s and master’s degrees.[25]
