JAGRITI (THE AWAKENING) is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language legal thriller film directed by Harish Kumar and written by Pusshkar Tiwari and Shilpi Shivam.[1] The film is produced by Pariwar Films Limited and Green Eye Productions Pvt Ltd on a total budget of ₹5 crore. Pink features an ensemble cast, which includes Rajniesh Duggall, Anjali Patil, Vernica Dwivedi, Pusshkar Tiwari. JAGRITI (THE AWAKENING) is in under production and yet to be shot in June and will be releasing in end of 2024.
PLOT
This is based on true story, on prevention of rape that depicts harassment faced by girls in many workplaces. It revolves around a girl named Ankita, an underprivileged individual aspiring to achieve success through her talents. However, society often perceives girls as nothing more than objects, and Ankita experiences the same treatment. Despite her lack of privilege, she bravely confronts the harassment she faces, challenging societal norms and even the country’s judicial system. At the end of the day, with relentless effort, she triumphs over the hypocritical systems, setting an inspiring example for the entire country. This story aims to empower girls, encouraging them to fight for their rights and emerge victorious against all odds.
