Trisha Paytas has long been known for unapologetically speaking her mind and telling the truth, this quality remains at the heart of the JUSTTRISH podcast. The podcast covers a variety of topics, however a noteable aspect of the show is its focus on mental health and body positivity. Trisha describes being inspired by her admiration of Dr. Drew who works with indiviiduals suffering with mental illness. Trisha launched her podcast with the hopes of inspiring and helping people in the same way he helped her. Trisha reflect on her past throughout the show; sharing her personal growth and journey. Trisha was once known for her emotional and vulnerable videos- like her well-known kitchen floor videos during her struggles with substance abuse and heartbreak in 2019- she has since become a thriving wife and mother of two. Her evolving character is a commmon theme within the podcast. Co-host Oscar emphasizes the balance between their two unique personas. Each week, Trisha and Oscar cover what they call "Hot Topics", focusing on trending discussions in a way that remains positive and avoids negativity or harm.
History
[edit]Trisha Paytas has endured a troubled past with podcasting. Her first show, "The Dish with Trish", lasted ten months before she was unfortunately dropped by the production company. In the first JustTrish episode, Trish set the goal of making it last a year. Almost a year and a half later, JustTrish continous to grow strong. From previous struggles to current sucess, Trisha's journey highlights her resillience and deep emotinal connection with her auidence.
Production
[edit]The JustTrish podcast is filmed in the home of Trisha Paytas and Moses Hacmon. Production is handled by Trisha, Moses, Oscar, and ocasionally her mother and sister. Moses who set up the entire studio, frequently changes the set for each new episode to keep it engaging for viewers. Oscar, though not a public figure before koing the podcast, has extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Oscar brings a more realistic perspective to the conversation, often offering less popular but more practical opinions. Trisha, on the other hand draws in the audiance with her unique and sometimes controversal takes on various topics.
The JustTrish podcast has a website were they occasionally release exclusive merchandise for fans. The show also has a Patreon, which offers exclusive content not avalible on YouTube or Spotify. Patreon memebers can acess bonus episodes and physical rewards through various tiers. Currently, the Patreon has 42,546 total members, with 12,551 paid subscribers and 131 posts.
