Irina Ognjević (born September 27, 2011, in Belgrade) is a Serbian singer.[1]She began singing at the age of eight and was a member of several choirs in Belgrade. Irina has actively participated in international festivals, where she has won numerous awards.[2][3][4][5][6]
Awards and Achievements
[edit]Irina has garnered international acclaim through a series of prestigious awards that showcase her exceptional talent as a young musician.
In 2023, she won the Grand Prix at the CID-UNESCO WAPA Mexico competition,[7] a highly respected global honor. She also claimed 1st place in the Tin 1 Category and received a Special Award at the Rising Star Festival,[8] as well as 1st place in the Jazz Category at the Online Rising Star Carmen competition in Indiana, USA. Her success continued with live performances, where she secured 1st place at the Golden Bear Live Festival in Romania.[9][10]
In 2024, Irina's success continued as she won 1st place in the Jazz Category and received an award for Incredible Performance at the Online Angel Voice competition.[11] [12]She also earned the Grand Prix Rock and the Musical Trophy in the 13–14 Age Category at the Rising Stars Competition in Romania.[13][14][15][16][17]
