Indonesia Artificial Intelligence Society (IAIS) was initiated by informal gathering and forums among AI pioneers in Indonesia since 2018 has triggered numerous initiatives that grows exponentially nationwide.

As the community grows organically, the urgency to establish AI Society is imminent. In 24 January 2019, the initiation of Indonesia AI Society (IAIS) is established.^[1] ^[2]The society is incubated by Asosiasi Prakarsa Indonesia Cerdas (APIC) and in 2021 is duly registered organization with nationwide membership to push forth national AI agenda globally.

Vision

Foster deep expertise and collaboration among stakeholders in Artificial Intelligence therefore key organization for the establishment of AI Ecosystem in accordance to Indonesia AI Strategy.

Contribute to the development of AI National Strategy & AI Roadmap
Capacity and Capability Building
Develop competencies across sectors in the field of AI for technological leadership through collaborations
Accelerates adoption of AI in strategic sectors
Promotes fairness, transparency and inclusivity to enable collaborations across stakeholders nationwide deep at grassroot level
