Heritage Global Partners (commonly known as HGP) is an international Industrial Auction company, specializing in machinery, equipment and industrial inventories. HGP was founded by Ross and Kirk Dove in 2009[1]. HGP was acquired by Counsel RB Capital in 2012[2]. In 2013, Counsel RB Capital changed names to Heritage Global Inc., and started trading under the stock ticker HGBL. [3]
In 2020 Heritage Global Inc. up listed to the NASDAQ, and continued trading under the HGBL ticker.[4]
In 2021 HGP acquired American Laboratory Trading, a Connecticut based re-seller of biotech and pharmaceutical laboratory equipment.[5]
HGP's corporate office is based out of San Diego, California.
Notable Auctions:
HGP has completed numerous auctions of notoriety, including its 2011 auction for Solyndra[6], a 2020 auction for SDCCU Stadium (formerly known as Qualcomm) [7] and its 2023 auctions for Twitter/X. [8]
