From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Haru Ichiban (春一番, はるいちばん)is a strong, warm wind that blows at the beginning of the spring season in some parts of Japan. It generally occurs between Risshun and Shunbun. In some parts of northern Japan, the wind speeds are not particularly different than is expected, so it is not generally recognized.
