Hartpury University and College Boat Club is a High-Performance rowing club on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, based out of Gloucester Boathouse, David Hook Way, Gloucester..[1]. The Boat Club is owned by Hartpury College[2]

History

The club was founded in 2012 (Previously named Gloucester Hartpury Rowing), in which they were partnered with Gloucester Rowing Club. The programme was created with the support of British Rowing, identified as a World Class Start Centre - now formally 'Performance Development Academy[3]'

In 2021 the club split from Gloucester and formed 'Hartpury University and College Boat Club'[4].The club has produced many British and International Champions[5] under 'Gloucester Hartpury' and 'Hartpury University and College Boat Club'.

The club has won The Diamond Jubilee Challenge Cup on four occasions[6], Henley Women's Regatta on seven occasions[7], National Schools Regatta on eight occasions[8] and the British Rowing Championships on twelve occasions[9]
