Hakushi Hasegawa (Japanese: 長谷川白紙, Hepburn: Hasegawa Hakushi, born December 21, 1998)[1] is a Japanese singer-songwriter born in Tokyo, Japan.[2] After releasing music on Soundcloud in 2016,[6] they made their major debut upon the release of their first EP, iPhone Six Plus, through Maltine Records.[4] They identify as nonbinary and use they/them pronouns. Biography

[edit]Hakushi Hasegawa was born in Tokyo, Japan on December 21, 1998.[1][2] They began taking piano lessons at a young age and later on began to discuss electronic music in online chatrooms, being introduced to artists such as Nyolfen.[8] On August 31, 2016, Hakushi would release their debut single Hadairo No Kawa (肌色の川, Flesh Colored River) on Soundcloud,[6] which would go viral in Japan, grabbing the attention of the founder of Maltine Records, Tomohiro Konuta, who would sign them to the label.
Major debut
[edit]On October 16, 2017, Hakushi would release their debut EP, iPhone Six Plus, through Maltine Records.
