Draft:Grimson
Submission declined on 8 September 2024 by Utopes (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Grimson (stylized as Grimsøn) is the Swedish/American music and animation project of Berlin-based singer/songwriter and animator Aiden Berglund[1].
Originally from New York City, Berglund moved to Berlin during the pandemic and began self-releasing indie-rock ballads accompanied by self-made animated music videos and artwork under the moniker. Grimson's adventurous and melancholic sound has been likened to 2000s American indie-rock acts such as The Shins, Elliott Smith, and Beck, as well as to classic British-Invasion artists like The Beatles, The Zombies, and The Kinks[2].
Visually, Grimson draws inspiration from Tim Burton, Moomins, Swedish-Folk art, and Studio Ghibli, which he synthesizes into a hand-drawn animated universe populated with characters of his own invention[3]. Berglund posts frequent animated material on the social media platform Instagram, and regularly entertains his audience on TikTok with a steady stream of dark humor and music-related videos, many of which have gone viral.
Grimson released one studio album Climbing Up The Chimney in 2023, and has toured with ROAR, Alberta Cross, Boogarins, Hayden Thorpe, and more[4][5].
