Grigoriy Hansburg (Ukrainian: Григорій Ізраїлевич Ганзбург, ; born September 25, 1954 in Kharkiv) is a Ukrainian musicologist.[1] [2] [3], university lecturer [4] and music critic. He also gives concerts as a pianist[5].
Life
[edit]Hansburg trained as a pianist and graduated from the Kharkiv Youth Music School at the Kharkiv Conservatory in 1973. He then studied music history, among other subjects, and graduated from the Faculty of History and Theory at the Kharkiv IP Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts in 1978 [6].
In 1978-1985 he was a college teacher at the Poltava Musical College. In 1984-2009 (with interruptions) he was a senior lecturer at the Kharkiv IP Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts, and in 2013-2021 he was a member of the dissertation council for the defense of dissertations [7]. Since 1984 he has been teaching at the Kharkiv Music College named after B. Lyatoshinsky.
From 1992 to 2002, Hansburg was the scientific director of the International Music Festival "Kharkiv Assemblies". (Creator of the name "Kharkiv Assemblies" and the motto of the festival "Resistance to Evil with Art").[8]
Social activities

Member of the National All-Ukrainian Music Union (since 1992). Member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (since 2011).

- Co-founder of the Kharkov Fund for the Support of Young Talents (1994).
- President of the Schubert Society in Kharkiv (since 1996).
- Co-founder and board member of the Kharkiv Assemblies Charitable Foundation (since 2012).
- Member of the jury of professional competitions and Olympiads, in particular in November 2017 and 2019. took part in the work of the jury of the first and second all-Ukrainian singing competitions “World Classics in Ukrainian”[10]

He has over 200 publications in scientific collections and periodicals. He is the author of musical works, mainly vocal and choral.
Author of works in the field of music history and theory, Schumann studies, Schubert studies, music education, source studies, lexicography.
In 1976 he introduced a new branch of musicology - librettology (the study of the verbal component of musical works).
In 1996 he developed and introduced the training course “Musical Regional Studies ”. Study planner for muses.
Laureate of the Municipal Prize named after I. I. Slatin (1997)[11]
Laureate of the Grand Prize of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the Kharkiv Regional Council in the field of culture and art (2014)[12]
