Enrico E. Nardini (Born September 13th, 1978) better known by the ring name Glenn Spectre [1] is an American professional wrestler.

Early Indipendent Professional Wrestling Career (1999 - 2003)

[edit]

Glenn Spectre began his professional wrestling career working security for local Pittsburgh independent promotions. In 1999 Glenn began training Pittsburgh independent wrestler Devil Bhudakhan and Skayde. Glenn Spectre made his debut in 2000 and worked much of his first year on Pittsburgh based outlaw shows before joining local Western Pennsylvania promotions CWF, PWX, and Ohio promotion Mega Championship Wrestling[2] in 2001.

Glenn Spectre made his International Wrestling Cartel (IWC) debut in 2002 [3]forming a tag team with Devil Bhudakahn (The Devil’s Advocates). IWC helped to launch Glenn Spectre’s independent professional wrestling career leading to bookings spanning the Carolinas to upstate New York. Glenn Spectre joined IWC’s wrestling school the Coalition of Competition (currently Iron City Wrestling Academy) further training under head trainers Shirley Doe and Super Hentai for students such as Joaquin Wilde. In 2003 Glenn Spectre became an assistant trainer at the Coalition of Competition. During this time the Devil’s Advocates also won tag titles in IWC and Union of Independent Professional Wrestling, feuding the teams like ROH’s Ring Crew Express, The Burning River Brigade (MDogg 20 and Josh Prohibition), and Sexual Harassment (Eric Xtasy and JT Rogers).

Japan and Beyond Professional Wrestling Career (2004 - 2008)

[edit]

Glenn Spectre was scouted by two Japanese promotions in 2004. Spectre debuted for Dramatic Dream Team (DDT Pro) at world famous Korakuen Hall for the Max Bump 2004 show challenging Danshoku Dino for the Iron Man Heavy Metal Title. Glenn Spectre and Danshoku Dino would become fast friends with Spectre in his Glenn “Q” Spectre persona rescuing Dino from the Aka Rangers and forming the tag team the Gay Machine Guns, going on to win the KO-D Tag Team titles.. As one half of the Gay Machine Guns, Glenn Spectre would become the first gaijin (foreigner) to hold a title in the DDT promotion when they would win the DDT Tag Team Titles in the main event of Boys Be Ambitious 2004 defeating Sanshiro Takagi & Ryuji Ito and GENTARO & Takashi Sasaki. Scheduling conflicts would force a title change, but the Gay Machine Guns would remain a dominant force in the DDT tag division, challenging for the titles in multiple tournaments.

Concurrent to these events, Glenn Spectre would also defeat ECW’s Danny Doring to win the NWA Upstate (Upstate Prowrestling) Heavyweight title.[4] This would also begin a nearly year long feud with Brodie Lee culminating in a steel cage match in which Spectre would finally be defeated by Brodie Lee ending his title run at NWA Upstate at one day short of a full calendar year.[5] In 2005, Spectre would enter and lose the Chikara's Tag World Grand Prix tournament to the team of B-Boy and Super Dragon.

Later that year Glenn Spectre would suffer a shattered scapula, temporarily losing the use of his right arm and unable to take bookings for several months. Glenn Spectre would take time off returning in 2008 to wrestle on the Devil Bhudakhan Memorial Show.[6] He would then take an extended hiatus to focus on his family life.

Return to the Ring (2020 - Present)

[edit]

In 2020 Glenn Spectre began training for a return to the ring.[7] Taking time to redevelop his skills and get into ring shape, he would officially return to the ring in 2021.[8] Shortly thereafter he would return to IWC as both an in-ring talent and as a trainer for their Iron City Wrestling Academy.[9] Glenn Spectre remains an active talent on the independent wrestling scene.
