Founded in 1986 by the company's namesake,[1] Tony Giarratana, the company created its first major investment in the form of a 24-story apartment complex called "The Cumberland" in Nashville.[2] Since then, they have continued to develop residential buildings across Nashville, including the 60-story Paramount Tower under construction on Church Street that will be the tallest building in the state upon completion.[3]
