• Comment: It is very unusual that I review a draft a second time, the more so with one which I have rejected. However, we have been in discussions on your talk page and I believe you deserve the opportunity to understand what is wrong with this.
  I said when I rejected it that the then current draft would not do at all. Nor will this one. While the tone is less of a paean of praise there is nothing here that suggests you are other than a WP:ROTM business person, doing your job. You have not asserted any notability in a Wikipedia sense. Since you have not asserted it you cannot verify it.
  However, you have neglected to verify even the simple facts here. Two entire sections have no references at all. The mentorship and community service has but one reference. Being very direct, none of these confer notability.
  The Awards section, while you are justifiably proud of each one, is equally useless in conferring notability.
  This absolutely requires blowing up and starting from scratch. It is out of a sense of politeness that I have no rejected it a second time. Another reviewer would have done so (0.9 probability).

Gayla Kraetsch Hartsough, Ph.D., is the President of KH Consulting Group (KH), a consulting firm she founded in 1986. Since 2014, she has also been an Associate Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Southern California (USC), Sol Price School of Public Policy, International Public Policy & Management (IPPAM) Program. In 2021, she served as the Executive Director for the Los Angeles County Redistricting Commission, the first independent commission for redrawing the county’s supervisorial districts for a population of 10 million. Additionally, she has written award-winning screenplays and written/produced three short films that have gone to over 50 festivals and won audience and best-of-the-fest awards.

Education

Kraetsch Hartsough attended Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois, and graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1967. She then enrolled at Northwestern University, where she served on the University Hearings and Appeals Board. She completed her bachelor’s degree in three years by taking summer courses at Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University. She earned a master’s degree from Tufts University in 1973, followed by a master’s degree and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Virginia in 1978. In 2011, she also completed a feature screenwriting certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles (Extension).

Career

After graduating from Northwestern University, Kraetsch Hartsough worked as a Volunteer in Service to America in Greeneville, TN from 1970 to 1971. After VISTA, she worked as an Assistant Teacher at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, MA, between 1971 and 1972 and a learning disabilities resource teacher and supervisor at the Staff Development Institute at Fairfax County Public Schools (Virginia) between 1972 and 1976. While at the University of Virginia (1976-1978), she was an Assistant Director for the Center for Youth and Family Studies and Director of the Tutorial Clinic. She also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Marymount University.

Upon completing her Ph.D. degree, Kraetsch Hartsough became a Senior Program Officer at the Academy for Educational Development in Washington, D.C., between 1978 and 1980. She joined Cresap, McCormick, & Paget (CMP) in 1980, where she worked in Washington, D.C., and Sydney, Australia. When Willis Towers Watson (formerly Towers Perrin) acquired CMP, she was promoted to Managing Consultant and transferred to the Los Angeles, CA, office in 1983. In 1986, Kraetsch Hartsough started KH Consulting Group, which has has served over 200 clients in 25 states and 9 foreign countries, primarily governmental agencies; education enterprises, and transportation systems.
