Draft:Gaia (Formerly Socially Recruited)
Submission declined on 2 November 2024 by Fancy Refrigerator (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Gaia (formerly known as Socially Recruited)[1] is an AI-powered recruitment platform based in the United Kingdom. The company specialises in using social media and search engine strategies to facilitate the recruitment process for both public and private sector organisations.
History
[edit]Gaia (formerly Socially Recruited) was founded in 2017 as Socially Recruited by co-founders Ben Keighley[2] and Gareth Thyer-Jones.[3] Initially, the company focused on using social media as a channel for recruitment, a relatively underutilised approach at the time.[4] The founders identified an opportunity to improve traditional recruitment methods, which often provided a poor experience for candidates and limited access to talent for employers.
In 2024, Socially Recruited acquired Soccialy,[5] a company known for its recruitment solutions in the education sector. Following this acquisition, the company rebranded as Gaia in July 2024 to reflect its expanded service offerings, which now include both commercial and educational recruitment sectors.
Services
[edit]Gaia recruitment offers several features aimed at improving the recruitment process:
AI-powered social and search recruitment: Utilises artificial intelligence to target and engage both active and passive job seekers through social media and search ads.
Generative vacancy ads: Allows for the creation of generative vacancy ads tailored to attract specific candidate profiles.
Data analytics: Provides detailed analytics and insights to optimise recruitment strategies and measure campaign effectiveness.
Candidate experience: Focuses on creating a seamless application process to improve engagement and reduce candidate drop-off rates.
Features
[edit]Gaia offers a range of features designed to support HR professionals in managing their recruitment processes:
GaiaAttract: Uses AI to create generative vacancy ads and precision targeting to reach top talent on digital media platforms. Key features include cross-channel AI retargeting, cookieless cross-domain tracking, and AI bidding/optimisation.
GaiaPages: Provides auto-AI-built job pages with customisation and personalisation options, along with custom domain integration.
GaiaChat: Offers multiple chat options, multilingual support, and video application with analysis to enhance candidate engagement.
Market position
[edit]Gaia (formerly Socially Recruited), the AI-powered recruitment platform, was included in the 2024 Fosway 9-Grid™[6] for Talent Acquisition, a tool that helps organisations evaluate providers in the talent acquisition market.
Since its founding, Gaia has expanded its user base and capabilities. The platform facilitated over 4.3 million candidate applications in 2023,[7] demonstrating a 150% increase in activity compared to previous years.
Gaia started with three employees and, as of 2024, has grown to a team of 50. The company has been recognised as one of the best tech firms to work for[8] by 2024 Culture 100.
