Everand

[edit]

Everand is a digital content subscription service that offers ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, magazines, newspapers, and sheet music. The platform is accessible via web browsers, iOS, and Android devices, and supports Apple Watch. Everand is a subsidiary of Scribd, Inc.

History

[edit]

In 2007, Trip Adler, Jared Friedman, and Tikhon Bernstam founded Scribd Inc., a site for hosting and sharing documents that later evolved into a subscription service for ebooks, audiobooks, documents, and podcasts.

The creation of Everand was driven by the desire to offer a curated, personalized reading and listening experience, leveraging the technological and editorial expertise that Scribd had developed over the years.[1]

Since its launch, Everand has expanded its content library, offering over 1.5 million ebooks and audiobooks from renowned publishers and independent authors.[2]

Everand as a Scribd’s Sub-Brand

[edit]

In 2023, Scribd unbundled into three distinct products[3]: Scribd, Everand, and Slideshare. Everand offers a wide variety of ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, magazines, newspapers, and sheet music.

Content Library

[edit]

The Everand library includes ebooks, audiobooks, podcasts, magazines, newspapers, and sheet music. The content spans a wide range of genres and topics. The platform also includes exclusive Everand Originals[4], which feature new and experimental works by both established and emerging authors.
