Evans Kwabena Sarpong(born c. 1996) at Nkoranza in the Bono East Region of Ghana, is a sports broadcast journalist, a news reporter, writer and commentator. He is known for being the whistleblower for the untimely death of Albert Donkor in Nkoranza. He currently works as a pundit on Adom FM and Asempa FM sports talk shows.[1]
Career
[edit]Kwabena Sarpong began his career as a journalist at Storm FM in Sunyani in November 2017 when he was one of the producers of the station's morning show and sports talk shows. In April 2018, he joined Dero 99.9 FM in Nkoranza where he became Power Sports talk show's foreign presenter. After serving the station for almost six years, he joined Mothers FM in Accra where he had a short stint before becoming a pundit on SportsNite on Asempa FM and Adom Sports Page 2. Evans was also appointed the Administrative Manager of Nkoranza Warriors in 2018 but resigned in December, 2019 sighting personal reasons. In May 2022, Kwabena gave a detailed account about a murder case in Nkoranza about Albert Donkor, becoming the correspondent for many national television stations and radios in Ghana.
