Ethnic Qarsherskiyan people are a triracial isolate group of people living in Eastern North America who are a mix of European, African, and Indigenous American ancestry.[1] They are most Shia Muslims and have hundreds of years of history dating back to the British colonial period and the institution of slavery in the British North American colonies.[2] There is limited available data on Ethnic Qarsherskiyan people because they had began a process of assimilation[3] into American culture and only in modern times did the community adopt the name "Ethnic Qarsherskiyan" to differentiate between Ethnic Qarsherskiyan people and other triracial isolate groups like the [[Melungeon]], [[Lumbee]], and [[Redbones]] communities.[4][5][6]
