The Hermitage and Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows (Spanish: Ermita y Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores[1]) is located in the municipality of Tinajo, on the island of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain. Opened to worships in the early 1780s, an image of Our Lady of Sorrows, also known as Our Lady of the Volcanoes , the patroness of the island of Lanzarote, is venerated.[2]
