Distribusion is a Berlin-based rail, bus, and public transportation aggregator. It's marketplace is creating a standardized connectivity platform.[1]
History
[edit]In March 2016, the company raised €6M in Series A funding led by Northzone, Creandum and HR Ventures. Seed investor Frühphasenfonds Brandenburg, and a few unnamed angel investors also participated in that round.[2]
In June 2022, Distribusion raised €30M in Series B funding led by Lightrock with existing investors Creandum and Northzone also participating. The purpose of this round was to raise capital to increase market penetration beyond Europe and South America.[1]
By March 2024, the company had completed it's first integration with Google Maps, providing schedule and ticketing services for Lithuanian Railways.[3]
