Dev Dass Manandhar(Nepali: देव दास मानन्धर; 15 Nov 1952 – 5 Nov 2023) was a well known newa scholar and activist as well as a Nepal Bhasa Linguist who is best known for his work in standardizing Nepal Lipi and Ranjana Lipi for inclusion in Unicode.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]

Mr. Dev Dass Manandhar was also president of the Cold Storage Association of Nepal until his demise. This organization is under The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry which is an umbrella organisation of the private sector in Nepal.[14]

He was also serving as executive director at Morang Sugar Mills until his death in 2023.[15]

He graduated with a Master's degree in Chemical Process Technology from Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in 1979.[1]
