Damon Runyan (born January 1, 1976) is a Canadian actor and filmmaker, known for his roles in television series such as Gangland Undercover, Out Come the Wolves , and Star Trek: Discovery. Runyan has appeared in a variety of film and television projects, ranging from crime dramas to science fiction.

Early life

Damon Runyan was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. At a young age, he developed a passion for acting and pursued his interest through education and involvement in local theater productions.[1]

Career

Runyan began his career in Canadian television and film, quickly gaining recognition for his talent. One of his notable early roles was in the Canadian drama series Gangland Undercover (2015–2016), where he portrayed Charles Falco, an undercover informant who infiltrates various outlaw motorcycle gangs.[2][3]

In addition to his work on Gangland Undercover, Runyan appeared in other television series, including Star Trek: Discovery (2017), where he played Ujilli, a Klingon leader. Runyan has also made guest appearances in popular TV series such as Supernatural, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and The Listener. His film credits include roles in movies like Christmas Festival of Ice (2017),[4] Valentine in the Vineyard (2019)[5] and Out Come the Wolves (2024), where he continues to explore diverse characters across different genres.[6][7]

Damon Runyan is married to actress Jodie Dowdall. The couple has worked together on various projects and is known for their collaborative spirit on and off the screen.[8]
