Dabaru (transl. Chessmaster) is an upcoming 2024 Indian Bengali-language biographical drama film directed by Pathikrit Basu and produced by Nandita Roy and Sanjay Agarwal with Shiboporosad Mukherjee as creative producer. The film stars Samadarshi Sarkar, Arghya Basu Roy, Rituparna Sengupta, Chiranjit Chakraborty and Dipankar De.[1]
The film is inspired by the life of Grandmaster Surya Shekhar Ganguly. It is scheduled to release in theaters on 10 May 2024.[2]
