- Comment: This draft doesn't seem ready for review. I don't know if the IP that submitted it is the same person as the account that had been editing it. From the three paragraphs before the line "edit to avoid deletion before I can finish this", there are no references that give sufficient independent coverage to show that it meets Wikipedia's notability requirements. The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) is the accrediting body for dental, advanced dental and allied dental post-secondary education programs in the United States.[1] CODA is part of American Dental Association and is recognized by the United States Department of Education.[2] Programs accredited by CODA are recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada and vice versa.
CODA currently accredits[3] CODA accredits four types of allied programs: dental hygiene, dental assisting, dental laboratory technology, and dental therapy. [4]
CODA was established in 1975. Prior to that, since 1938, the ADA's Council on Dental Education served as the accrediting body for dental programs.
