Citizens Bank International Limited is a Nepalese commercial bank that operates across Nepal.[2][3]
The bank is an ‘A’ class commercial bank licensed by Nepalese central bank the Nepal Rastra Bank.[4] The bank has over 200 branches across the nation providing retail banking services and it has its head office in Kathmandu which also provides commercial banking services.[1]
The bank's shares are publicly traded in the Nepal Stock Exchange.[5]
History
[edit]The bank was founded in 2007.
In 2016, the bank acquired Nepal Housing and Merchant Finance Ltd, People's Finance Ltd as well as Premier Finance & Co limited, increasing its branch network to 58 and 93 branchless service centres.[6]
The 2017, the bank had an initial public offering (IPO) and was listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange.[5]
