Carlo Rino Group Berhad (KLSE: CRG 03016) is a fashion brand headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.[1] As of 2024, it operates 39 stand-alone boutiques in Malaysia.[2] It markets products under two brands: Carlo Rino, which sells handbags, wallets, footwear, and fashion accessories, and C.Rino, which sells sunglasses​.

History

The Carlo Rino brand was launched in 1986 by Chiang Sang Sem as the group's executive chairman, who started the business of designing, manufacturing, and wholesaling leather goods.[3]

In 2018, Carlo Rino Group was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia), and is publicly traded as KLSE: CRG (03016). In the same year, Dato’ Sri Chiang Fong Yee was appointed as Group Managing Director,[4] overseeing the company's operations and strategic direction.

In 2022, the company partnered with Warner Bros. for Looney Tunes,[5] a cartoon-themed collection featuring characters like Bugs Bunny, Tweety, and Daffy Duck, and also launched the "80 Years of Tweety" collection.

In 2023, a special Harry Potter-themed edition was released in collaboration with Warner Bros.

In 2024, the company announced the construction of a new 8-storey flagship store located at Jalan Imbi, Kuala Lumpur.[6]

In 2024, they launched the Powerpuff Girls special edition in collaboration with Warner Bros.[7] They also collaborated with Malaysian actress Hannah Delisha for the Spring Summer Raya Collection x Hannah Delisha.[8]

Financial performance

The total revenue for 2023 was 113 million Ringgit Malaysia.[9]

In 2024, Carlo Rino Group Berhad filed for an initial public offering (IPO) to raise funds for transferring its listing to the Bursa Saham ACE Market from the LEAP Market.[10]

In 2023, Carlo Rino partnered with University of Malaya to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in the field of arts.[11]
