Submission declined on 20 September 2024 by SafariScribe (talk). This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of web content). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Drafts like this should meet a notability guideline called WP:NWEBSITE. Sources must be secondary as well as reliable per WP:RS, because Desde Matanza, Basic Tech Capital, Financial Multicultural, and "https://remotereporterusa.com/" doesn't meet the guideline. Capture Bizarre is a humorous web site established and published in Argentina. Launched in 2014, it was influenced by 9gag, a website which was predominant in Argentina prior to the appearance of sites like Capture Bizarre. This site hosts a community over six million people strong in Argentina. Its founder, and current director, is Mauricio Vesprini, BA in Marketing.
Biographical Review
[edit]The site allows its users to create memes via the "memes generator". It is similar to the 9gag's post generator which was also worldwide popular. 9gag posts are called "gags", whereas in Capture Bizarre they are simply memes (rage comic)[1].
The page is, despite some differences, similar to a traditional blog layout. The website name is because originally screenshots of user mistakes in social media or some other humorous details were shared. These compositions contain an image that is usually accompanied by captions that work as a brief comment or a complementary description. Capture Bizarre was notable for being, just as 9gag was, one of the brands that via humour got closer to Argentina in 1990s. Prior to the emergence of Capture Bizarre, most graphic humour circulating among users in Argentina, came from webpage outside the country [2].
The content and themes of these pieces often show memes from the internet world, celebrities and personalities, designs that evidence everyday activities with humorous takes, jokes regarding certain stereotypes of men, women, politicians, negative criticism of certain artists, actors, parodies, satires, short stories, or comments about specific events. Any registered user may create these pieces in the webpage.
In 2018, Mauricio Vesprini, along with Julián Morales, presented the online memes generator via Capture Bizarre. Once in the server, these images can be shared with other users or downloaded to be shared in social media. Afterwards, Capture Bizarre changed its approach to users. It was determined that they would collect the users' creations and analyse them before they were posted.
One of the image that got the highest repercussion was the Berni Sanders meme during the year 2021. It became a source of revenue for charitable cause. The democrat senator collected almost two million dollars from the sale of t-shirts and sweatshirts featuring his image. The collected money went to charitable organisations in his home state of Vermont.
During the preventive and mandatory social isolation that was installed in the year 2020, the number of users accessing the platform largely increased. This situation led to the inclusion of academic content related to the growth of Capture Bizarre in the curriculum for marketing students at the National University of Rio Negro. Capture Bizarre members delivered lectures and members of that University were able to present their analysis[3][4]
