Brasília International School (BIS) is an American international school located in Brasília, Brazil. It offers an American education program from preschool to twelfth grade. BIS is a private Christian school, dually accredited by Cognia and ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International).[1]
The school was founded in 1998 to serve the international community of Brasília. It is open to students of every nationality and faith. BIS is part of the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) along with fourteen other schools in twelve different countries. Brasília International School is also a non-denominational organization with a curriculum compatible with post-secondary studies in the United States, Canada, and England.[2]
